As a development of the Volumaker bodywork projects, starting in March1998, a range of high quality horseboxes were developed for vehicles between 3.5 and 17.5 tonne.

Most of the conversions have been based upon the Iveco Daily and the Mercedes-Benz Atego chassis.

The design was developed with a high degree of attention being paid to horse access and comfort, as well as an excellent crew accommodation.

The ‘AR2’ 2 stall box used the lightweight and durable plastic bodywork to good effect, as did the larger ‘BX3’, which had its first prototype built in October 1998.

Since then the range has been developed further to create a wide variety of Horseboxes and Sports Homes.
