In conjunction with Resinject Developments, a plastic moulding development specialists in the UK, a range of fully tooled plastic bodies were developed between 1994 and 1998, which could be fitted to a wide variety of vehicles between 3.5 and 7.5 tonne.

The then unique development of a lightweight foam cored double skin construction, modular construction, plus good aerodynamics and a useful internal volume, enabled a higher payload to be carried more efficiently than a standard coachbuilders box-body.

The cab-integrated aesthetics also resulted in many vehicles being used in prestigious working environments, as well as by the high profile fleet operators ‘RYDER’.

The first vehicles produced in July 1994 on an LDV chassis, were for use in the Laundry transportation sector, where the advantage of the rigid plastic construction, and lack of any metal inner structure, was a great benefit, due to the high moisture content of the loads carried.
